Hole 5 Information
The 5th hole is one of our shortest par 5’s packed with strategy to challenge the good player while providing options of less difficulty for the average player to score well.
A wetland is sited right of the fairway around an island of original native vegetation. Cross bunkering in the fairway off the tee forces players of all lengths to choose their position off the tee. The second shot to the green requires careful placement for a layup due to the positioning of bunkers in the fairway and approach area on the right.
The green nestles into an amphitheatre like setting and is positioned perpendicular to play, placing a higher degree of difficulty for those trying to reach it in two shots. The average player has plenty of room to layup on the left for an easier third shot depending on the pin of the day. A high right and narrow pin position on this green is well protected by deep turf hollows along with bunkers both visible and not.
