Cleek Stick team finish season off with 3-2 win

Finally, Glenelg won the toss this week in our match against Royal Adelaide at Flagstaff Hill on Sunday, and the final result followed suit.

After a little confusion over GA handicap conversions, we were off to a good start.

At the second tee there was a bank up of four teams after some trouble with loss of balls.

By the start of the fifth, we were ahead in three matches, at the ninth we had two squares, a 4-up  and a 1 up, and Libby Neuling had already won.

I am pleased to report a 3-2 win at the 18th hole. The girls were delighted, as was their Captain!

It has been a great experience, and whilst we won’t be playing in any finals, the girls really enjoyed the season.
