Grade 2 women secure round 3 win over Kooyonga

Report by Joy Green (Manager)

Glenelg’s A2 women’s pennant team defeated Kooyonga at Blackwood with the sun shining, possibly a first this year!

The girls won three matches to two with Louise Pike blitzing the course and her opponent, 7/6.

Other team members had harder struggles with Sue Raggatt winning 1 up and Bec Hughes defeated 1 down.  Jill Gehling lifted her game after being 2 down at the turn, to win 3/1.

We are sure Sam White had the longest drive on the 13th, finishing in the front greenside bunker and making birdie to win the hole.  However, it was to no avail, going down in her match, 3/2.
