The young pairing of Henry Duregon & Sam Raschella have taken out the 2014 Men’s Club Foursomes Championship on Sunday, by a comfortable 5 shot margin.
After firing an impressive 1-over par 72 in the morning, three shots ahead of Martin Ardill and David Hiern (75) in second place, Duregon and Raschella’s solid 76 in the afternoon was enough to take out the Championship. Ardill and Hiern’s 78 in the afternoon was good enough to secure second place with a total of 153, while David Brand and Will Starkey finished in third place with rounds of 78, 81 for a total of 159.
In the Handicap events, Chris Burns and Mark Dignan took out the A grade event with a net score of 71.5, while Mitch Ward and Dave Welling won the B Grade event shooting a net score of 77.5. Harry Larsen and Dusan Nenadovic shot a net score of 82 to take out the C Grade Foursomes Championship.
