Matilda Wheare has taken out the 2013 Girls’ Club Junior Championship, played in conjunction with the Anne Smerdon Junior Girls Invitational event on Sunday.
Matilda had rounds of 90, 46 for a 27-hole total of 136 to take the title from newly joined member, Hyoyi Pyun. Matilda also took out the Ella Cole Trophy awarded to the player with the best net score.
In the Anne Smerdon Junior Girls Invitational event, The Grange’s Ella Adams fired rounds of 80, 41 for a 27 hole total of 121 to collect the trophy. The Grange’s Kristalle Blum was one shot back in second place whilst Jin-Young Yun, also from The Grange, took out the best net with a 27 hole net total of 114.
