The Junior Golf Club Championship at Glenelg Golf Club saw an incredible display of talent, determination, and sportsmanship from all our young competitors. For many, this was their first major club championship, with some players as young as 10 and 11 years old participating in an event open to all juniors under 18. It is truly impressive to see such skill and composure from such young golfers, highlighting the bright future of junior golf at Glenelg.
In the Boys’ final, Jack Leonard emerged victorious after a closely fought match against an in-form Fletch Ryan, securing a 2/1 win.

In the Boys’ handicap final Seb Wadsworth had an impressive debut, defeating the youngest finalist, Liam Wang, with a commanding 5/4 victory.

In the Girls’ final, Bec Hardy staged an incredible comeback, being 2 down with 3 holes to play, ultimately winning 1 up against the leading qualifier, Grace Ferrier.
