About the role

As the Accounts Officer, you will assist the Chief Financial Officer and the Club Operations & Membership Manager with all aspects of the finance and membership functions of the club. This diverse role provides excellent job satisfaction and exposure to many facets of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable including entering supplier invoices, reconciling statements and payments. 
  • Accounts receivable including facilitation of membership billing and account inquiries.
  • Payroll including the setup of weekly pays and employee file management.
  • Bank Reconciliations including daily cash management and bank account reconciliations.
  • Participate as an office team member, assisting in administrative duties as required.

What we are looking for

  • Applicants will ideally hold suitable tertiary qualifications in Accounting, or working towards completion. Alternatively, applicants with demonstrated experience in a similar role, will also be considered.
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time in order to meet required deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of golf is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to work Tuesday – Saturday is preferred, Monday – Friday option will be considered for the right candidate
