Committee and Management have been working hard to build a strong workplace culture and align employees with our Club vision and strategic goals. On a yearly basis the Club measures staff satisfaction and their understanding of the business using an anonymous survey conducted through the STAR Workplace Program. Glenelg Golf Club has finished in the top place of STAR Workplace’s Australasian Workplaces for 2023.
This is the Glenelg Golf Club’s third time in the top 5 and second time as the 1st overall Australasian Workplace. In 2023 the Glenelg Golf Club’s Strategic Alignment Rating was 87% which is higher than the 2021 score of 86% which was the last time Glenelg Golf Club finished 1st overall. This high strategic alignment rating is higher than the STAR benchmark of 75% or above, where high performing organisations average 77%. This indicates staff are extremely happy to work for the Glenelg Golf Club, they understand the business, they are aligned with the vision and strategic goals, and as a result the business performs at an extremely high level.
