Sarah Douglass-Norris joined the Glenelg Golf Club coaching team this week on a part time basis. Sarah brings a wealth of experience to Glenelg through her professional playing career and experiences around the world. She will initially be focusing on the Women’s clinics at the Club with plans to expand further in the future.
Sarah Douglass-Norris represented SA and Australia as an amateur golfer while completing a Bachelor of Teaching majoring in Japanese. Sarah then became a professional golfer 20 years ago playing on the Australian tour and competing in many Australian Opens and Australian Masters. Sarah lived out her dream of playing professionally in the USA, Japan and on the European Tour for five years and settled in Chamonix, France for 10 years. Sarah has run many golf tours for groups for amateurs around Europe and Australia and loves being involved with corporate days. Sarah is married with two children and also coaches part time at The Grange Golf Club and Flagstaff Hill as a PGA member, and enjoys sharing her passion for golf to students of all ages.
