Congratulations to the following women who have qualified for the Essex Stroke Final to be played on Tuesday 22nd August.

The Essex Stroke is played throughout the year over four rounds. The winners (including ties) of each division, Silver & Bronze, for the day qualify to play in the Final.

Mrs Essex was a former Captain of the Club (1937 – 1938) and the Essex Trophy was originally played in memory of her son Adrian who died during the Second World War.

The Essex Stroke has been played since 1940 and the Committee has continued this event as a Memorial to Mrs Essex.
