Grange’s Jack Williams and Matt Lisk lead the field after the first round of the Junior Shootout, being played at Glenelg Golf Club today.
Williams and Lisk fired a 1-over par 72 to lead local pairing, Sam Hynes and Todd Williams, by one shot. James Miller and Matt Lange are a further three shots back firing a 76, with Glenelg’s Jack Hynes and Josh Hodgson a further shot back after shooting a 77.
Glenelg’s Williams and Hynes also lead the net event with a one-under 70, one shot ahead of fellow members, Hynes and Hodgson.
The final round will be played this afternoon in warm weather with plenty of refreshments provided by event sponsor, Schweppes.
