Glenelg’s young dynamic duo, Jenny Lee & Elysia Yap, have followed up their recent victory in the State Foursomes Championship with an equally impressive victory in the Women’s Club Foursomes Championship today at Glenelg.
The youngsters played solid golf over the 36 hole, 2-week event, to take out the title by 13 shots from runners up, Jan Dale-Harris & Lisa Faehrmann.
The B Grade Foursomes Championship was a close tussle with a 5-hole playoff required to determine the eventual champions. In the end, it was the pairing of Nancy Craigie & Jerry Hall who were success over Chris Sullivan & Barb Heald.
In the C Grade Championship, Jeanne Scardigno & Kate Beatty took the title from runners up Marg Magarey & Moreen Barter.
