Junior Boys Championship Final – Dream Final Match Up Between ..The Two Jacks
Current Men’s Club Champion, Jack Buchanan came up against former and youngest ever Men’s Club Champion Jack Tanner in the Final of the Junior Boys Club Championship held on Sunday 14th October.
In an epic battle of the highest standard, Jack Tanner made a late charge, being 2 holes down with 3 to play Tanner finished, birdie, birdie, eagle!!… draining a 20 footer on the final hole to clinch a memorable victory.
Junior Boys Handicap Match Play Final
Sharp Cup pennant player Calvin Perks took on young Josh Grundel, Div. 2 and Sharp Cup player, in the final of the Handicap Matchplay Final.
Calvin had to give up 3 shots to Josh who was hot with the putter all day. Josh eventually wore down his opponent and took out the match 3 & 1.
