Course Safety Incident

On Thursday 20 September, a member was hit in the head by a flying golf ball whilst walking off the 9th green and standing alongside their bag. The impact caused bleeding. ProShop staff attended and whilst the member was lucid and calm, it was decided to request an ambulance. The ambulance took the member to hospital for tests as well as attending to the wound. Fortunately, the member has fully recovered and is now fine. Thank you to James (ProShop) and Tia (Admin) for their care and support. It is vitally important that all players exercise high levels of vigilance and care by checking that the course is completely clear ahead and safe before hitting up.
