Sharp Cup two from two

An unchanged Sharp Cup team won its second contest 4.5 – 0.5 at Kooyonga against The Grange (Gold) on Sunday.

The players were very excited to play against a team from The Grange two weeks in a row, and relished playing on Kooyonga’s fast greens.  The boys had to bring their A-Game as The Grange players got off to an exceptional start early in the round.  The Glenelg players dug deep and played some exceptional golf with No. 5 Jack Ramage winning 3/2, No. 4 Aaron Buchanan winning 1 up, No. 3 Calvin Perks winning 3/1, No. 2 Kane Hyams halving and No.1 Harry Edwards winning 4/3.

As always the players were very appreciative of the hard work of their caddies and supporters.

After two contests Glenelg remains undefeated and are sitting second on the Sharp Cup table only 0.5 behind Kooyonga.  Following the Queen’s Birthday break the players will be travelling to The Vines to take on The Vines.
