On an extremely warm and windy day City Mazda sponsored our Hospitality Day. We had a few casualties with the heat but most of the field enjoyed the experience of playing Canadian Foursomes.
Leigh John, General Manager of City Mazda and Jo attended the day and their refreshment cart on course was very much appreciated.
City Mazda were generous with their prizes with the Long Drive on the 18th hole for three grades and Nearest the Pins on all four Par 3s for the three grades.
In third place were Ruth Martin & Louise Pike with 37 Points. On 38 Points, runners up and last years winners, Jill Hodge & Toffee Perkins (Royal Adelaide), losing on a countback to 2017 winners Cheryl Franzi & Kay Hamlyn (Tea Tree Gully).
There were also five Lucky Card Winners but the main Raffle Prize was won by Helen Mesnil which was a trip to Renmark in a Mazda Loan Car, a nights accommodation, as many rounds of golf that could be played in two days and a food and beverage voucher for $100.
The ladies appreciated the generosity of City Mazda and welcomed the advice that City Mazda would again sponsor the day next year.
