I am pleased to advise that additional Bag, Buggy and Gopher Storage will be made available at the Club prior to the start of the new membership year in April 2018.
Planning approval for a new shed near the committee car park area has been lodged, with works to start upon approval. This space will predominantly be used to hold all the Club’s motorised carts with the area currently used for cart storage (enclosed space below the balcony / conference room) to be made available to members currently on the storage waiting list. Depending on the final make-up of bags, buggies and gophers, we believe this should positively impact between 20 to 30 members.
Through the recent member satisfaction survey, frustration around not being able to store bags, buggies and gophers at the Club was one of the most significant areas for improvement identified. As a Club we are pleased to be able to address this concern and look forward to providing further news about other new and exciting developments at Glenelg Golf Club.
