Thanks Cathy and Kerry

It is with sadness we say farewell to two of the Glenelg Golf Club’s longest serving staff members in Cathy Symons and Kerry Crossman.

Cathy, a legendary Glenelg golfer (with an amazing 10 holes in one to her name, amongst a very long list of other playing achievements) started in the office in December 2008.  Cathy has been the first port of call for members and visitors and will always be remembered for her great interest in how everyone’s game of golf played out.  While Cath will still be a regular feature on our great course, we will very much miss her presence in the office.

Kerry joined Glenelg Golf Club in 2003 and has performed numerous tasks over the years including keeping the office running smoothly, always showing great interest in our members and always trying to help solve any problem.  Kerry was always eager to roll her sleeves up and help in events like Foundation Day and had great relationships with members, visitors and suppliers to the club.   Like many of our golfers, Kerry was always an early bird, regularly arriving at the Club as our dawn-breakers were teeing off.

The Club plans to arrange a farewell so both staff and members can say a proper thanks and farewell to both Cathy and Kerry – we’ll advise of the time and date of this gathering in due course.
