The annual Airport Challenge match between Glenelg and Kooyonga was played on Wednesday, 1st March at Kooyonga Golf Club.
Sadly, the Glenelg team was soundly defeated by the home club, winning only 2.5 matches out of the 10 matches played.
Played in a two ball better ball matchplay format, Glenelg’s only victorious pairs were Paul Duregon and Bevan Roberts, and Martin Ardill and Louis Langanis. The pairing of Phil Maunder and Ken Schebella salvaged a halve in their match.
