Women’s Minda Day another great success

The weather could not have been more perfect which contributed to some very good scores for our Charity Day in aid of Minda. We had 72 Visitors and 75 players from Glenelg. 

Approx. $2,600 was raised from entries and over $1,000 from the Trading Table and Raffle. Minda Community Engagement Officer Shelley Pyrah, was thrilled with the outcome and congratulated everyone for their generosity.

The Competition of the day was a three ball best ball and the Winners with a Score of 48 points from Glenelg were Erica Richardson, Jo Ricourt and Anna Standish.

The Runners Up with a Score of 47 points on a countback, from Flagstaff Hill were Lyn Mitchell, Anne Hunter and Lois Taverner.

The Long Drive on the 18^th Hole for A Grade was won by Wendy Greig (Glenelg), B Grade Trudy McNamara (Grange), and C Grade Jo Kervers (West Lakes).

The Nearest to the Pin on 11^th Hole A Grade was won by Jane Nelson (Glenelg),  B Grade Louise Bowler (Kooyong) and C Grade Lisa Harvey (Glenelg).

The Raffle winners were Louise Glennon (Grange) Juliet Culley (Glenelg) and Gay Stephens (Grange).

A special thanks to Shane Robinson and the Golf Operations Team for their assistance and direction on the day and for all participants for supporting the day.
