Disappointing result for Glenelg Seniors in Semi Final loss

The Glenelg Senior Pennant team crashed out of contention with a disappointing 6/1 loss in their Semi Final match against Grange at Mt Osmond. Whilst all players tried valiantly and gave it their best shot, only Anthony Doyle at No. 2 was a winner for Glenelg winning his match 3&2.

Chris Whitford, elevated to No. 1 due to recent good form, celebrated his birthday, but had a tough match against a very good player and lost 5&4. Wayne Humphries at No. 3 lost a close match 1 down.

John Keogh at No. 4, David Chantrell at No. 5 and Sandy Small at No. 6 all lost tight matches 2&1 and Greg Kendall at No. 7 lost 4&3.

A big “Thank you” to all Squad members for their commitment and effort in representing the Club and for being so competitive throughout the season.
