On Thursday, 26th May 2016 Glenelg Golf Club ladies hosted Kooyonga ladies for the Pauline Sanderson Bowl, a match play event for ladies with a GA handicap between 20 and 30.
Kooyonga won the previous contest last September but Glenelg Golf Club, with the home turf advantage, were able to secure the win 5 matches to 4 with 4 wins and 2 halved matches.
Pauline, a member at both Glenelg Golf Club and Kooyonga, was present to tell us about the history of the trophy she has donated – a beautiful crystal bowl bought by her father for her mother many years ago.
