In a remarkable display of family talent, father and son duo, Jimmy and Nick Lambos, emerged victorious in their respective divisions at the Glenelg Golf Club’s Club Championships. Jimmy clinched the C Grade Championship title by beating his opponent, Darryn Conway, with a 4&2 victory. Meanwhile, Nick secured the B Grade Championship defeating Gary Cundy 3&1, marking a proud moment for the Lambos family.
Nick’s triumph adds a Club Championship to his six-year tenure as a Club Member. On the other hand, Jimmy has been a loyal member of the club for an impressive 20 years with this being his first Club Championship trophy. Their joint success not only highlights their talent but is also a testament to the many families at Glenelg Golf Club.
