Adam Bryant, our new Club Operations & Membership Manager, commenced at Glenelg Golf Club today, Monday 31st October 2022. If you see him around the Club please make him welcome.
Adam comes to us from North Adelaide Golf Club having spent the last five and a half years at the Club, and reporting to the City of Adelaide Council. Prior to that Adam and his wife ran their own business for five years. Adam is an active Member of Golf Management Australia and is highly respected in the industry.
Some of you may already know Adam as he has been a Member of Glenelg for the last three and a half years. He is a handy golfer, and recently played his first pennant match for the Club in our Bonnar Cup team. Adam is keen to further build his career in Club Management and his experience in golf further enhances the golf knowledge of our administration team.
Whilst having input into all aspects of Club Operations, Adam’s main role will be membership. Some of the key objectives of the role are:
- Enhance the current Member experience.
- Assistance with Member communications
- Further enhance the processes between the Pro Shop and the Club, providing Members with a seamless and positive golfing experience.
- Grow business through strong relationships with Members, sponsors and corporate clients
- Development and execution of Member events
- Recruitment of new Members to further build and engage the Membership Waiting List
- Input into Membership and Match sub-Committees
- Assist with policy updating, WHS and governance
- Building on our already successful junior and pennant programs
- Overall maintenance of Clubhouse
