Winery Challenge Postponed | New Restrictions in Place

Dear Members,

I am extremely proud of how our Members, our Club, have handled the past few months of Covid-19 uncertainty. Members accepted all rules that were implemented at very short notice by management, via State and Federal Government direction, for that I thank you all. We now face a new challenge, as new restrictions were announced by the State Government yesterday for all licensed venues. As the interstate experience has shown we must do everything possible to minimise the risk of another spike in our State.

WINERY CHALLENGE – POSTPONED

It is with great regret that we have to postpone this Friday’s Winery Challenge. With new Covid-19 restrictions in place limiting our service of alcohol, we feel the event would not be as enjoyable without all aspects of the day allowed, including the popular on-course tastings with our wineries. The new proposed date is Friday 9th October 2020, pending restriction announcements. The new date will be even bigger and better than originally planned so stay tuned for further updates in the coming weeks.

GOLF BOOKINGS – FRIDAY 7th AUGUST

Due to the unfortunate cancellation of this Fridays Winery Challenge all existing golf bookings will be made null and void. The new booking sheet for Friday 7th August will open on Wednesday 5th August at 3:15pm, with all play from the 1st Tee. We apologise for any inconvenience.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

Food and beverage can continue to be purchased from the bar/bistro and then taken to a table. Members must be seated when eating or drinking inside the Clubhouse or on the balconies. Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed while seated throughout the entire property.

CATERING CART

Unfortunately, due to the new restrictions, alcohol will not be available for purchase on the catering cart. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will remain as per normal.

COVID-19 HYGIENE

I would like to take the opportunity to remind all Members that we need to remain vigilant and continue the great work we have been doing so far to stop the spread of the virus.

  • Continue to maintain proper hygiene. Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand sanitiser located in all areas of the Club. Additional sanitiser will be available around the Clubhouse.
  • Continue to social distance as per the government recommendations.

Enjoy your golf and stay safe!
