Senior Interclub Final Day
In the Consolation Final, Royal Adelaide were too strong for Glenelg winning 3 and a half to 2 and a half. Well done to Wayne and Grant for solid wins and a half to Tony. Special thanks to Wayne Inglis for playing at late notice and getting us a team on the park.
Thanks to all who represented Glenelg through the season – whilst we didn’t get the results we would have liked, all matches were played in great spirit and a good time had by all.
In the Final, it was an exciting finish – Grange and Kooyonga finished tied at 3 games each, with Grange claiming victory on countback due to winning more holes on the day. You have got to feel for Kooyonga – they went through the season undefeated, beating Grange in both matches through the season, and even not losing today (as such), yet Grange claim the Interclub Cup. The countback system may need review!
