Sanderson Cup Round 1 Results

Our girls got our season off to a great start with a convincing win in cold, wet & tough conditions.

Jade Kinita playing her first A1 match defeated Belinda Porter 6 & 5 – an excellent start for one of our stars of the future.

Sarah Crocker defeated Armarni Marsters 4 & 2 – a good win for Sarah as she has been recovering from knee surgery.

Shakira Kuys defeated Lara Reid 1 up – a good match and fight back from her opponent after being well up, but a great last hole to hang on for the win.

Elysia Yap lost to Nayoung Ku 2 down – Elysia struggled to find her form & a very strong finish from her opponent didn’t let the match go her way.

Charley Jacobs defeated Rachel Taylor 5 & 3 – as usual Charley’s game was strong all day and was never challenged with her length and touch around the greens.

Thanks to Jayne Staridas, Fiona Eblen, Tony Martin for caddying and to the few spectators braving the cold & windy conditions at Royal Adelaide.
