Team Manager (and player!)
The girls had an amazing win over Mt Osmond winning 5 – 0 and finished second on the ladder behind Grange. All girls played very well with a total of 15 birdies between them and we are now excited to be playing Royal Adelaide at Kooyonga in the semi-final next Sunday at 11:15am. We hope to see some Glenelg members cheering on our girls – we would love some support!!
No. 1 Charley Jacobs defeated Rachel Taylor 5/4. Charley played well all day and as usual played the last holes really well to have an easy win.
No. 2 Elysia Yap defeated Nayoung Ku 4/3. Elysia won the first 3 holes, then played some mixed golf, but came good when it counted on the last 6 holes to have a good win.
No. 3 Sarah Crocker defeated Rebecca Nolan 8/6. Sarah won the first 5 holes, was 7 up at the turn and never looked back with a very impressive win.
No. 4 Shakira Kuys defeated Lara Reid 8/7. Shakira was very impressive winning the first 7 holes and went on to an easy win.
No. 5 Jill Hodge defeated Belinda Porter 8/7. Jill also won the first 5 holes and played well to have an easy win.
Thanks to all our caddies and supporters especially the Tuohy’s and Osborn’s. It was great that both A1 & A2 were at the same course and seeing so many black and yellow banding together!
We wish the Pike Cup team a big win this week to make the final once again.
