Cleek Stick narrowly miss finals

Report by Liz Kelton
Team Manager

Our match today was crucial to give ourselves an opportunity to play in the Final.  Sitting second on the ladder we were up against table leader, Royal Adelaide, who were unbeaten all season.

Our girls started a bit nervously but steadied as the half way mark loomed.  Gerry Hall went on to win her match and Frances Macpherson squared hers.  However we lost the other three matches with Ros Osborn only going down on 17th.

The make-up of the finals match came down to a countback between Glenelg and Tea Tree Gully.  Unfortunately, we just got squeezed into third place by one game.

Well done to all our team members for their commitment and enthusiasm throughout the season.  They represented the Club in a great manner and can be very proud of their efforts.
