Another good win for A3s

On a cool morning, the A3’s defeated Blackwood 4 -1 at Royal Adelaide.

Our numbers 1 and 2 had very strong wins; Sue Raggatt built on an early lead, playing near par golf over the back nine, hitting great shots to the green, finishing with a  6/4 win.  Fiona Eblen, playing number 2, started strongly, was up after nine holes.  Fiona continued to play most consistently, enjoying a number of pars over the back 9, winning 4/3.

Jo Lendrum, playing number 3, continued her winning record!  She fought back after being 2 down at the 11th, outplaying her opponent over the remainder of the back nine, to win 1 up.

Jo Ricourt, playing number 4, played steadily all day.  Holding onto her lead after nine, Jo continued to hit the greens with good shot selection, ensuring her 3/1 win.

Jill Gehling, playing number 5, fought back after the loss of a couple of early holes.  Just 1 down at the 11th, and some evenly played holes, Jill lost at the 16th losing 3/2.

Another strong team win!  Well played.
