Sharp Cup suffer loss, still progress...

The Sharp Cup team lost in their fourth contest of the season 1.5 – 3.5 against top of the table Kooyonga at Willunga on Sunday.

Maggie Stewart Memorial Golf Day

On Tuesday, 26th June 2018 Glenelg Golf Club had the Maggie Stewart Memorial Golf Day in honour of Maggie Stewart a member of the Club who died in 2014.

Simpson Cup still undefeated

Glenelg kept their unbeaten season in tact with a hard fought 4 – 3 victory over The Vines at Kooyonga. Played in wonderful winter conditions, the “wiz-kids” stood up under the pressure of a close encounter, to ensure the win.

After a very early start for our trip to Tea Tree Gully, we struggled all day against the home team who took advantage of their local knowledge, especially around the greens.

Tough battle for Bonnar Cup

Playing Flagstaff Hill on their home course was always going to be a tough contest. Throughout the day it was obvious the home team were generally finding the fairways and managing the greens that little bit better than the Glenelg players.

Sanderson Cup poised for finals berth

Our girls played well at home this week and recorded a convincing 4 – 1 win against Royal Adelaide. We are now sitting second on the ladder and should remain on track to finish second for the season and qualify for the semi final in two weeks at Kooyonga.
