Women’s Sub-Committee Annual Meeting

On Tuesday 24th October a field of 86 women played a 4BBB 12 hole stableford competition followed by lunch in the dining room and the Annual Meeting.

Our General Manager, Ben Kavenagh, addressed the meeting and spoke briefly on a future vision for our Club.  He invited everyone to attend the Draft Strategic Plan presentation which is being held on November 9th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.  Ben voiced strong support for the Women’s Sub-Committee and thanked them for the role they play in support of women’s golf.

Liz Kelton completed her two year term as President (which followed 2 years as Vice President) and was thanked for her wonderful contribution to the Club.  Cheryl Franzi will take over as President of the Women’s Sub-Committee and Annette Rieniets will begin a two year term as Vice President. The remaining Committee members each have one more year to serve in their current position.

The winners of the 4BBB of the day were Liz Kelton, Libby Neuling, Anne Threadgold & Lisa Harvey.
