The team played Mt Osmond at Royal Adelaide, starting on the 14th tee and needed a win to cement their place at the top of the ladder. The A1 Women’s team also played at Royal Adelaide, hence the two extras in our photo. They finished a lot earlier than our team and came out to help support us which was certainly appreciated.

Emma Sutton played Nayoung Ku and was either square or 1 up the whole round, until near the end and eventually won 2 up. Well done Emma and thanks Meredith for continuing to caddy.

Sam White played Rachel Taylor and after 3 holes was 2 up. Sam played strongly and eventually finished 4/2. Another game where Sam had complete control. Thanks Cathy for your support and being her caddy.

Shakira-Ann Kuys played Rebecca Nolan and had a battle on her hands. They eventually squared the match, great game and well done Shakira. Bec Hughes caddied for Shakira today and as I watched their approach to the 1st green, there was much discussion before Shakira laid up. They then watched her opponent go over the back of the green into the tree line. Well played.

Louise Pike played Belinda Porter today and after a shaky start, was 1 up after the 3rd hole. She continued on winning or halving holes until finishing 6/5. Louise is a solid and undeterred match player, if she has nerves then she keeps them well hidden. Heather Waddy has been caddy for Louise during her Pennant matches and I think they work really well together. Thanks Heather.

Tilly Miels had her first game at Royal Adelaide and beat Lara Reid quite convincingly 6/4 which might have been good as she missed having to play the  blind 11th hole. Great job Tilly and thanks Sue Raggatt for caddying.

Well done to all and a great big thank you.
