Sharp Cup Team’s Good Form Continues

The Sharp Cup Team traveled to The Grange to play against The Vines in the second round of the season. In excellent conditions the Team had a very impressive 5 – 0 win.

At number five Harry Edwards played a solid match against his opponent to secure a 3/2 win.

Marcus Kuys, at number 4, played his first game of Sharp Cup for the season having missed round one due to playing in the State Sand Greens Championship. Marcus continued his 2016 form with a solid 5/3 win.

At number three Liam Kennewell played against a fellow left-hander. Liam’s golf and match play experience came through with a 6/4 win.

2015 Club Champion Jack Tanner was a welcome addition to the Team, he played some exceptional golf to record a 7/6 win.

At number one Harry Burner played some classy golf, holding a commanding lead most of the day winning 7/5.

A big thank you to Mitch, Aaron & Leanne for caddying and to David Brand for supporting the Team and taking the Team photo. 

Overall a brilliant result for the Team, who are looking forward to their next match against Country Districts at Kooyonga on Sunday week.
