Sunday, 28th May, saw the A2 ladies play at Kooyonga against Flagstaff Hill. The weather was definitely pennant weather – wet and cold. The girls all played exceptionally well with a winning result of 4.5 to 0.5.

With the 1st hole out of play, we started on the 17th and finished on the 16th fairway.

Emma Sutton played Taylah Cooper and had a hard fought match. They went down the final hole square and halved the match.

Samantha White played Kat Da Silva and proved the stronger of the two players, finishing 4/2.

Cathy Symons was neck and neck with Heather Shekle for the first 7 holes. The turning point seemed to be the Par 3, 7th Hole, where Cathy played the greatest tee shot and birdied the hole. The final score being 4/2.

Bec Hughes leapt out of the starting block and didn’t look back. Winning 7/6. Poor Wendy Butler didn’t seem to stand a chance.

Tilly Miels with her buddy/caddy, Yike Ma, got ahead early in the game and continued on to win 4/2.

Congratulations to all and thanks to all the caddies for their support and help.
