Hard fought win for Junior Div 2 team

This was a hard fought win from our div 2 team against Kooyonga, 3.5 to 1.5.

Playing 5
Jade Kinita….Won 1 up
Terrific effort Jade against a worthy opponent. After spending 15 holes see sawing between 1 or 2 down your mental strength with 3 to play was the winning factor. Great result.

Playing 4
Darcy Burns….Won 10/8
Started strong and was heading for a solid win. Unfortunately his opponent couldn’t complete the round.

Playing 3
Calvin Perks….Won 5/3
Got off to a flyer. Played solid golf, rarely giving his opponent any opportunities. Well done Cal.

Playing 2
Kane Hyams… Square
Kane fought hard all day and played some good Golf. Unfortunately a small mental error cost Kane the win on 17.

Playing 1
Luke Sandford… Loss 3/2
Luke kept in touch all day, but as Golfers know you have days when you can’t get it going.

A very good result for the team. What I’m most pleased about, all of you played well but not one of you could say l had a great game.

This week we have Grange at Tea Tree Gully. We will need to play well.

You’ve earned your position on the ladder so far, but only 2 games in and we still have a long way to go.
