Over the weekend we welcomed some Committee Members and Key Staff from our Reciprocal Clubs of Bonnie Doon and Woodlands to the Club. It was a chance to showcase “Glenelg Golf Club” to these guests, and we were pleased with how they responded to the experience.
Glenelg got a golfing lesson by a young West Lakes team at Thaxted Park, going down 6/1. The significant difference between the teams was West Lakes’ ability to quickly adapt to the fast-paced, multi-tiered greens.

After an extensive recruitment process, which attracted many quality applicants, Glenelg Golf Club can announce the successful applicant and new General Manager is Mr Ben Kavenagh.
The booking sheet is now open for the Don Harris Memorial Canadian Foursomes event on Monday, 13th March 2017.
The annual Airport Challenge match between Glenelg and Kooyonga was played on Wednesday, 1st March at Kooyonga Golf Club.
Tee closures, fixtures and event information for March are now available for members to download from the website.
