MiScore Competition Management System comes to Glenelg

In an effort to gain efficiencies and deliver the latest technology to our members, we are excited to announce the implementation of the new MiClub Competition Management system, MiScore.

The system will go live on Tuesday, 28th March bringing Glenelg in line with the member experience delivered at other group one clubs across Australia.

The system uses a traditional look card with members having access to three scanning stations to enter scores post round. Two will be positioned in the downstairs foyer with one unit positioned in the Pro Shop.

With the implementation of the new system we expect there to be a period where the members may need assistance in becoming accustomed to scanning and checking their scorecards. Please utilise the Pro Shop staff for any assistance you may require.

The following are the main benefits of MiScore:

  • Instant updates to leader boards and automated competition results
  • Access to leader board from website
  • Lower card and hardware costs
  • Competition results uploaded to website daily
  • Timely and accurate results
  • In built signature checking, removing this task for golf administrators
  • Validates scores for players
  • Removes the requirement of the slope handicapping changes
  • No more eclectic administration
  • Removes hole by hole data entry
  • Handles over 50 competition types including singles, fourball, foursomes and ambrose on one card stock
