Senior pennant team hits a hurdle

The unbeaten start has come to an end.

Strong, cold, southerly winds presented tough conditions for all players on the challenging Grange East course.

The strong Tea Tree Gully team was just too good on the day. All matches were competitive and the Glenelg players took it right up to their more fancied opponents.

Special mention and congratulations to Sandy Small and Ken Schebella for their outstanding victories against a couple of tough opponents, well played guys.

Our next match on Monday afternoon, 20th October will be at Glenelg against Gawler and it will be important to bounce back with a strong victory, to keep us in the hunt for a finals berth.
