Jackson Kalz’s matchplay credentials continue to grow, as he took out the 2014 Men’s Winter Matchplay event.
Following his first round win against Con Capsis, Jackson was able to overcome a tight battle with Club Captain, Gavan Fox in the quarter finals, had a comfortable victory against Jim Rawson in the Semi final, and then did not lose a hole to take out the final against Scott Williams 7/5.
On the back of an excellent McMillan Shield and Junior Pennant season and a good showing in the Junior Club Championship, this has been a very successful and fulfilling season for Jackson.
Entries are now open for the Men’s Summer Matchplay Trophy. Entries close Saturday, 1st November.
