Glenelg seniors still in finals race

Glenelg hosted Round 4 of the Golf SA Senior Pennant competition and all players from the other clubs were impressed by the condition and layout of the course and the facilities provided at Glenelg.

This match against Gawler was critical in terms of regaining some winning momentum and maintaining our edge for a finals spot.

The Gawler boys were certainly competitive early but the home course advantage generally took it’s toll and Wayne Humphries, Sandy Small, Ken Schebella and Denis Prider recorded strong wins to set up the victory for Glenelg.

Our next match on Monday afternoon 27th October will be at Tea Tree Gully against West Lakes, another ‘must win’ match as West Lakes are also in contention for that second finals spot with only 3 rounds to go.
