2014 Foundation Day

Glenelg Golf Club will again be holding its annual Foundation Day on Friday, 15th August 2014. This is the Club’s only major fundraising activity for the year, with all proceeds going towards our popular and highly successful Junior Development Program.

To that end, we respectfully seek your support through donation of major or silent auction items or through the sponsorship packages available.

The Foundation Day is Glenelg Golf Club’s only major fundraising activity for the year, with all proceeds going towards our popular and highly successful Junior Development Program.  Over $18,000 was raised from last year’s event which has allowed the Club to continue to foster junior golf and help develop our young players to become life-time members and strong contributors to the Club and the sport of golf. With your support, we hope to again raise significant funds for this tremendous program.

You and your colleagues are invited to join us for a day of challenging golf, outstanding hospitality and a general all-round good time.  With the company of AFL Hall of Famer, Graham Cornes, this is the perfect opportunity to spoil your clients, staff or friends in an affordable and hassle free event.  Leave the organisation to us and simply enjoy the day.

Sponsorship opportunities exist to allow your business to market your services to the Club’s membership base and to network with other participants on the day.  These opportunities are outlined in the enclosed brochure, along with other details for the day.

We are also seeking a variety of goods and services for inclusion in our Foundation Day Auction.  Anything you or your business might be able to donate to the cause would be greatly appreciated.

We are delighted to announce that Pope (irrigation products) have signed as the Major Event Partner and we thank them for their tremendous support of the Foundation Day. Support has also been offered through our Gold Sponsors, and their involvement will ensure the day is an outstanding success. An application form is available below, for you to complete and send through if you wish to be involved.  Upon receipt of your application form, an invoice will be issued to you along with further information relating to your involvement on the day.
