Glenelg’s Jenny Lee & Elysia Yap are set to represent their state at the upcoming Women’s Interstate Series held at Gungahlin Lakes GC from 29th April to 2nd May. Matilda Wheare is also set to wear the state colours in the Junior Girls Interstate Series at Heritage Golf & Country Club from 13th to 16th April.
The results have been collated following the penultimate round of the 2013/14 Men’s Eclectic.
Due to significant interest, the Club is excited to again offer members the opportunity to tour two of the greatest golf courses in the country.
Members are reminded of the tee closures applicable during April for the upcoming Golf SA Classic and Rene Erichsen Salver events. These are highly prestigious amateur events and will showcase our course in its best condition to some of the finest amateur golfers in the country.
Glenelg backed up a half against Grange Green with a strong win against Tea Tree Gully, before a narrow defeat to Thaxted Park Golf Club on Sunday.
We would like to take this opportunity to assure members that the Club is pursuing all appropriate measures as we work with MiClub to resolve the online booking sheet issues that have plagued nine out of the 300 club websites MiClub supports nationally, including our own, in recent months.
Glenelg member, Elysia Yap has taken out her second Women’s Vardon in a row, winning at Fleurieu Golf Club by a comfortable seven shots, one week after taking out The Vines Women’s Vardon by a total of eight shots.
After round one has was cancelled due to extreme heat, Glenelg have started off their McMillan Shield campaign this week with an exciting draw against Grange Green.
Tee closures for the month of March are now available for members.
