Glenelg’s Junior Pennant team had a convincing 5-0 win against Mt Lofty at Kooyonga Golf Club on Sunday.
Their win leaves them in 3rd place on the ladder with two rounds to go, tied with Grange Golf Club on four wins and one loss for the season.
Liam Kennewell, in his debut pennant match was the outstanding performer for the week, winning his match 9/8. Todd Williams also showed some form taking out his match 8/7.
Providing the team have a victory against Grange’s Green team at Flagstaff Hill this Sunday, their participation in the final being hosted at home on 7th July will come down to the round seven match against Grange at Mt Osmond on Sunday week.
