Nailbiting half for Cleek Stick team in 3rd round

Glenelg’s Women’s Cleek Stick side delivered a nailbiting half in their 3rd round match against Kooyonga at North Adelaide Golf Club on Monday.

With three matches going to the 18th hole, including a win for Libby Neuling and a half for Ros Henderson, the result was certainly hanging in the balance for much of the day.  After Janet Fleer and Christina Larsen went down in their matches 4/2 and 4/3 respectively, a 1 up victory on the final hole by Peggy Lau-Flux saw the end result balanced up to an all square finish for the day.
