(Acting Team Manager)
Glenelg’s Junior pennant side has started the season in disappointing fashion, going down to Kooyonga, 4.5 matches to 0.5.
Certainly not the ideal start to the pennant year which we had hoped for our juniors. However, looking at the positives, everyone got home safe and sound, and we now know what we have to do for the remainder of the season – that is, win every game from now on.
Not many things went right on the day for the team, so hopefully with a bit of luck on our side, things should turn around, and with a little hard work, the group should see some more positive results in later matches. The loss hit the team badly on the day, which is a positive sign – it showed that the disappointment meant something to them
As a result, we should see a much improved effort from the group in coming weeks. The performance was very uncharacteristic for our junior team, so let’s all get behind them, and with just a small amount of luck along the way, finish the rest of the season undefeated.
