Glenelg’s 2013 pennant squad have shown some positive early signs with a comprehensive victory in the annual Glenwood Trophy pennant trial against Blackwood Golf Club at Glenelg on Sunday.
The team, comprised of five women, five juniors and ten men, recaptured the trophy off the Blackwood side, winning 15 out of the 20 games. A very strong showing from our top order, from both men and women, are a good indication of the player strength the Club will be taking into the first round of the Golf SA Pennant season commencing in two weeks.
