Jack and Vicki Hynes will tackle Will Starkey and Cassidy Evreniadis in the final of the 2012 Owen Whitford Trophy, to be played this afternoon at Glenelg Golf Club. With three of the four finalists under the age of 18, this final takes a new look over recent years.
Jack and Vicki Hynes were obviously keen to rest up for this afternoon’s final, defeating last year’s finalists Denis Prider and Joy Page on the 12th hole, winning 7/6.
The junior pairing of Will Starkey and Cassidy Evreniadis came back from being three down early, to win six holes straight and defeat Geoff Gitsham and Ruth Martin 3/2.
