Only four pairs are now alive, heading into the Semi Finals of the 2012 Owen Whitford Trophy.
In Quarter Final matches, Jack & Vicki Hynes took James Brown and Cathy Symons down the 20th hole in a very tight match, while Denis Prider & Joy Page had a comfortable victory over the Blackwood pairing of Geoff & Jenny Watson.
The youngest pairing in the field, Will Starkey and Cassidy Evreniadis defeated Paul & Julie Smallman 6/4 and look the favourites heading into the Semi Final matches. Club President Geoff Gitsham and Ruth Martin fought hard to defeat Jim Rawson & Anne Marks 3/2.
