After an impressive morning round of 72 in perfect conditions, Rawson & Noble held off the experienced pairing of Ben Tuohy and Leigh Attenborough, shooting 78 in the afternoon  (150 total), defeating Tuohy and Attenborough’s scores of 76, 75 (151 total). Andrew Grzybowski and Anthony Olsen recovered from a slow start in the morning, shooting 79, finishing with a solid 75 in the afternoon (154 total) to finish in third place.

Scores were very tight down to the wire, with Tuohy & Attenborough making ground quickly on Rawson & Noble through the front 9 of the afternoon round, to be one in front through 32 holes. But bogeys on 15, 17 and 18 were enough for Rawson & Noble to take out their first official Championship event.

In the 18 Hole Handicap Event, David Scholz and Toby Koch stole the show firing a notable 74 off the stick for a net 67.5, 5 shots clear of second place in the A Grade Event.

Joe Charles and Phil Proctor took out the B Grade Event with net 79 while Patric Alderman and Bevan Roberts won the C Grade Event with a solid score of net 74.
